Barbera d’Asti Superiore is from the best vineyards in Asti province, Monferrato area. The grapes are harvested by hand around the middle-end of September month. Then it follows a long maceration and fermentation of each must at controlled temperature (almost 27 C°). The wine obtained is refined in big, traditional oak wooden barrels for 18 months, then also in bottle. The colour is typical deep ruby red. Its bouquet is complex, with notes of mature red fruit and gentle spices. In the mouth is full and velvety, full-bodied and structured, very harmonic.
