Johnnie Walker Select Casks is a 10-year-old blended Scotch whisky, finished in ex-rye whiskey casks. The blend, which includes Cardhu single malt, is first aged in first-fill American oak casks before being finished in ex-rye whiskey casks. This finishing process imparts a distinctive rye spice and complex flavors, including notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, and a subtle hint of green apple.
